Itanagar: A special session of Arunachal
Pradesh Legislative Assembly has been convened on December 8
to elect the deputy speaker.
Besides election of the speaker no other business
would be taken up during the session, a release said on Sunday.
The post of the deputy speaker remained vacant since
November 17 following resignation of sitting incumbent Tapang
Taloh who was inducted as the Industries, Textile, Handloom
and Handicraft Minister in the Nabam Tuki-led council of
ministers.
