Assam-Meghalaya border meeting on May 24

Top officials of Assam and Meghalaya governments will meet to sort out decades-old boundary dispute between the two states.

Shillong: Top officials of Assam and Meghalaya governments will meet on Thursday to sort out the differences that erupted recently over the demolition of a building at Langpih and also to end the decades-old boundary dispute between the two states, officials said on Monday.

"We`ll be meeting on May 24 as part of the chief secretary-level talks of both the governments on boundary dispute," Meghalaya Chief Secretary WMS Pariat told a news agency.
