Guwahati: In a major catch, the police
arrested Rehauddin, the self-styled commander-in-chief of
Manipur based militant outfit, the Peoples United Liberation
Front (PULF).
On a tip off, Rehauddin was arrested from a house at
Athgaon near the Marwai Maternity Hospital last night, the
police said today.
The sources said Rehauddin admitted during
interrogation that he had come to the city for fresh
recruitment.
A team of Manipur police arrived today to grill him.
The ultra is likely to be shifted to Imphal.
