Aizawl: The Directorate of Industries
bagged the `Zamzo Award` of the Mizoram Tobacco Control
Society for being the least to be polluted by cigarrette
smoke, while a private shop here would be awarded the `Dirty
Ashtray Award`.
Jane R Ralte, the state`s Focal Point for Tobacco
Control Activities told PTI today that the two awards were
given after conducting a survey in Aizawl and covering 22
public places including government and private offices,
purported to be non-smoking areas.
"The Dirty Ashtray Awardee would not be made public, but
the owner would be counselled to ensure smoke-free premises,"
Ralte said.
