Guwahati: The BJP on Thursday said it was open
to post-poll adjustment with Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) in a bid
to oust the Congress government in Assam.
"Yes, we are open to form an alliance with the AGP in
our effort to form government and keep the ruling Congress out
of power," BJP`s state unit in-charge Vijay Goel said here.
Claiming that the party would be able to form
government with the help of like-minded parties including the
AGP, Goel said his party would have no truck with the minority
dominated All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).
"We will not take the support of either the AIUDF or
the left parties", he said.
