Imphal: A BSF jawan was killed and seven
others were injured on Wednesday when their bus met with an accident
while travelling to interior Tamenglong district for
poll duty, official sources said.
The accident occurred at Angkhui village area in the
district at around 10 am, the sources said.
Eight personnel were injured but one of them later
succumbed to injuries, sources said adding that they had come
from Tripura in connection with forthcoming January 28 Manipur
assembly elections.
