New Delhi: A ceasefire pact between the government and two Naga insurgent groups NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) and NSCN-Reformation was extended on Tuesday for one more year.

The ceasefire agreement, with effect from April 28, has been extended for one more year, official sources said.

The two groups, both breakaway factions of NSCN, have been in talks with the government after signing a ceasefire agreement a few years ago.
