Imphal: Four militants of banned Kangleipak
Communist Party-Lalheiba group (KCP-L) were arrested during
search operations in Imphal West district of Manipur on Sunday,
official sources said.
Search operations were launched at some places including
Uripok area of the district following report of movement of
the ultras during which the four were nabbed, the sources
said.
The four militants were identified as Oinam Anil (27),
Chanam Thaniljao (50), Chanam Anandi (40) and Konthoujam Kesho
(58), sources said adding that they have been handed over to
Imphal police station.
Over 100 militants of different outfits have been
arrested by security and police personnel during various
search operations this year, sources added.
