Gaikhangam re-elected president of Manipur Cong unit

Imphal: Manipur Pradesh Congress
Committee president Gaikhangam was today unanimously
re-elected for a second term.

AICC observer Sanjoy Dadlika, in-charge of Manipur
party affairs said Gaikhangam was the lone candidate for the
post of MPCC president.

Party sources said Congress MLA E Dwijamani who also
wanted to contest for the post was appointed vice-president
during a meeting of district Congress presidents and PCC
members on September 13.

Congress MLA Kh Ratan Kumar was appointed treasurer of
the party, the sources said.
