Imphal: A powerful handgrenade exploded
at the official residence of a government officer at Thangmeiband area in Imphal West district, official sources Said Monday.
No one was injured in the explosion at the residence
of the Superintendent Engineer of the Irrigation and Flood
Control Department, S Dhanabir Singh, yesterday, the sources
said.
The attack was carried out by unidentified militants,
they said.
