Guwahati: A major disaster was averted
when a grenade was recovered from a railway track at the busy
Guwahati railway station on Saturday.
Government Railway Police personnel detected the
grenade at track number two near platform one of the station.
It was later defused.
Security in the railway station has been tightened
following the recovery.
No one has been arrested, police said.
