Shillong: The higher secondary school
leaving certificate examination, conducted by the Meghalaya
Board of School Education, began on Friday with more than 39,000
students appearing for it in the state.
A total of 39,807 students are appearing in Arts,
Commerce and Science subjects,officials said.
Among the total examinees, 21,414 are girls and 18,393
boys.
