Imphal: A militant of Maoist Kangleipak Liberation (MKL) was arrested during a search operation in Manipur's Thoubal district, officials said on Friday.
Police commandos attached to Thoubal district police station launched a search operation at Thoubal Wangma area following reports of movement of some ultras yesterday.
During the operation, self-styled secretary of the MKL, Rohit Kumar was arrested, the officials said, adding that he has been handed over to police for further interrogation.
