Imphal: An unidentified militant was killed in an encounter with police commandos at Wangjng in Thoubal district of Manipur, official sources said here Thursday.
The police commandos were frisking some people near Y K college area, when some armed persons fired at the police commandos. The commandos returned the fire in which a militant was killed on spot.
Police said, one 9 mm pistol and one hand grenade were recovered from the militant
