Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a a gathering on the concluding day of the 49th Conference of DGs and IGs of police in Guwahati on Sunday, on the second day of his visit to the northeast areas.

The meet was inaugurated by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh yesterday and is being held outside New Delhi for the first time.

He is also scheduled to address the party workers later today and meet chief ministers of the northeast states.

Moi will then fly to Imphal in the afternoon.

The meeting is being attended by the DGPs and IGPs of all states, union territories and chief of paramilitary forces.
