Imphal: A militant of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) was arrested by combine forces from Phoijing area in Bishenpur district, official sources said on Saturday.
According to sources, the activist was identified as Maibam Bijoy of Leimapokpam after arrest on Friday.
The police said a combine team of Bishenpur police commandos and 18th Sikh Regiment were carrying out combing operation at Phoijing area when Bijoy was arrested.
According to the police, one 9 mm pistol, with four live ammunitions, was recovered from him.
