New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
on Wednesday condoled the death of former Nagaland Minister Ghutoshe Yepthomi.
"He was a recognised leader who worked for the welfare of
the people of Nagaland. I offer my condolences to his family
and admirers," Singh said in a statement here.
Yepthomi served as a minister in the Nagaland government
between 1985-88 and handled the portfolios of sports and youth
welfare, and health and family welfare.
Yepthomi breathed his last in Kohima on Sunday.
