As many as 27 to 30 representatives out of 39 MPS, from
both houses of Parliament from the North-Eastern states, have
confirmed their participation at the day-long conference, he
said in a release here.
A number of resolutions on the modalities of development
in the North-Eastern states will be adopted by the MPs based
on the inputs received from the participants of the North-East
Commonwealth Parliamentary Association at the meeting held
last week in Shillong.
Gangtok: Sikkim will host the first ever
conference of the North-East MP Forum (NEMPF) on February 12
next to discuss the issue of 'Ushering in people-centric
prograss and development through peace', according to the
Member of Parliament (MP) PD Rai.
