Agartala: The Left Front government in Tripura has banned the distribution and use of pesticide “Eendosulfan” for three months, officials said Friday.
The pesticide is widely used in agriculture in the country, particularly for rice and cotton crops. According to experts, its use has a debilitating effect on humans, animals and the environment.
