ULFA militants attack police station in Assam

Suspected ULFA militants tonight lobbed a grenade and damaged a portion of a police station at Sibsagar district in Assam.

lobbed a grenade and damaged a portion of a police station at
Sibsagar district in Assam.

The police said a portion of Demow police station was
damaged and window panes of the building were broken due to
the impact of grenade blast at about 10.30 pm.

Nobody was injured and the militants escaped after
blasting the grenade, the police said.
