An anti-corruption campaigner has been on indefinite fast since August 16 in support of Anna Hazare`s hunger strike.
Bhubaneswar: An anti-corruption campaigner, who has been on indefinite fast since August 16 here in support of Anna Hazare`s hunger strike, was shifted to a hospital after his health deteriorated, an India Against Corruption (IAC) official said on Friday.
"Bhabani Parija, in his 50s, was admitted to a state-run hospital after signs of severe dehydration," Nishikant Mohapatra of IAC, which is backing Hazare, said.
He, however, said the nine other supporters on fast in different parts of the state since August 16 were fine with no major health complications being reported.
People from all walks of life like government officials, students, journalists, teachers, businessmen and retired judges on Friday continued their support to the anti-graft crusade initiated by Hazare and his team.
