Five Maoists arested in Odisha

Malkangiri: Five suspected Maoists were nabbed in combing operations by the BSF
and police in Odisha`s Malkangiri district early Friday, police said.

Four Maoists were arrested from Patraput forest under Mudulipada area of the district in a pre-dawn swoop by the securitymen, the sources said.
Explosive materials and Maoists literature were seized from them, DSP Umashankar Dash said.

Another suspected Maoist was arrested from Luleru village under Mathili police station.

All police stations in the district were put on alert, Dash said.
