Four Maoists surrender in Orissa

Jajpur (Orissa): Four Maoists, wanted in
several incidents of violence, on Saturday surrendered before the
police here.

Suru Palia, Laxmi Heas, Bikram Gagarai and Ramesh
Gagarai, aged between 17 and 25?years, would be provided all
help to join the mainstream, Superintendent of Police, Deepak
Kumar said.

The rebels were involved in several major incidents
like Daitary police station attack, police officer Umesh
Marandi abduction, Kailash Mahant murder and attack on Telkoi
liquor shop in Keonjhar district among others, police said.
