Malkangiri: A woman Maoist,
allegedly involved in the abduction of former Malkangiri
district collector R Vineel Krishna in February last year, was
arrested on Sunday, police said.
Divya alias Wallasi (26) was nabbed during a joint
operation by BSF and district police near Janbai here.
She was working as an 'area commander' of the Maoist
group for the past 11 years under Galikonda Naxal division,
police said.
Divya was also allegedly involved in the killing of 36
police personnel on a motorised vessel in the Balimela
reservoir, police said.
