Manhunt after man shot dead in Puri
Bhubaneswar: A manhunt has been launched to nab the miscreants who Friday shot dead a 40-year-old man in Odisha`s temple town of Puri, police said.
Purna Chandra Sahu was shot dead by a group of unknown miscreants in a crowded place in Puri, 56 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab the assailants, Additional Superintendent of Police Jagannath Pradhan told IANS.
The exact reason behind the murder has not yet been ascertained, the officer said, adding the victim had a criminal background.
