Rourkela: The body of a woman, Bernna
Soren (55), was found in an isolated place about one km
from her house in the remote village of Bisanpur about 30 km
from here.
Bernna was living alone after the death of her husband
Fulgenes Soren. People of the nearby areas suspected her of
practising witchcraft.
Panchanan Naik, Inspector of Bisra police station,
investigating the case suspected that the killing may have
been due to the belief that she practised witchcraft.
