Koraput (Orissa): A court on Saturday acquitted 78 tribals belonging to Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh (CMAS) for want of evidence in a case relating to destruction of houses of non-tribals in Orissa's Koraput district in 2009.

Additional District Judge (fast track) S Prabhakar Rao of Jeypore acquitted the tribals who were chargesheeted for their alleged involvement in destroying scores of non-tribal homes at Podapodar village.
