Berhampur: A two-year-old girl
was killed allegedly by her father in an inebriated condition
here, police said on Thursday.
Narsingh Nayak, a daily labourer, allegedly beat his
daughter to death when no one was present in the house last
night. His wife had gone to fetch water when the accused
committed the crime.
Narsingh was arrested after his wife Champa had lodged
an FIR against him.
Police claimed that Narsingh had confessed his guilt.
