Berhampur: Five persons were
arrested for a clash last week at Kantiagada under Ganjam
district’s Rambha police station limits, which claimed a life
and left four women injured.
"We have arrested five persons from Agasti Nuagaon
during raids by the police," sub divisional police officer
(SDPO), Chhatrapur, Shantanu Padhy said.
The five persons, arrested yesterday, were Gandhi
Polai, Kirtna Polai, Natabara Swain, Hrushikiesh Swain and
Mahendra Swain.
Police were looking for at least seven more persons,
allegedly involved in the clash.
