Patnaik on Thursday sought intervention of Andhra Pradesh Chief
Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for correcting a 'mistake' in the
website of the southern state's tourism development
corporation.
It has been brought to notice that Mahendragiri Hills
have been included in the website of Andhra Pradesh Tourism
Development Corporation, Patnaik said in a letter to Reddy
today.
Affirming that Mahendragiri Hills are very much a part
of Gajapati district in Odisha, Patnaik said the state have
taken up several eco-tourism projects in those areas.
"It is unfortunate that a Corporation of Andhra
Pradesh government has included the Mahendragiri hills in its
website," Patnaik said.
Therefore, Patnaik, continued "I would request you
(AP, CM) to instruct the officials concerned in your
government to correct this mistake immediately."
