Koraput (Orissa): Security personnel found three landmines and as many claymore mines during anti-Naxalite combing operation in Narayanpatna area of
Orissa's Koraput district on Sunday.
The elite Special Operation Group (SOG) personnel
stumbled upon the explosive in the Maoist prone Pachingi area,
DSP, Laxmipur, Y Jagannath Rao said.
"The Maoists had planted the explosives targeting the
security personnel engaged in combing operation. No injury or
casualty has been reported. The explosives were kept in steel
containers," Rao said.
