Newly-crowned world professional billiards champion Advani defeated Joshi 4-0 152(111)-51, 151(131)-21, 157(153)-03, 150(150)-00, while eight times world champion Sethi upstaged his opponent Dhruv Sitwala on identical scoreline 150(83)-75, 150(133)-02, 152(98)-15,
150(135)-129(97) in their respective semifinal encounters.
In matches for the 5th and 6th position, Asian games gold medalist Ashok Shandilya beat Alok Kumar 2-0 (102)-02, 101-00.
Rupesh Shah came better off B Bhaskar 2-0(100-56, 100-90 to finish 7th.
