New Delhi: India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the opening match of the two-day international Rugby 7s tournament, a test event for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, commencing from April 2.
Rugby stadium in the Delhi University -- venue for the October 3-14 Games -- will host the tournament.
The tournament, first international Rugby 7s event to be held in India, will see participation from Sri Lanka, Iran, Malaysia, Brunei, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The teams will be divided into two pools from which the top-four finishers will advance to the semifinals.
