Vancouver: Saturday's men's downhill, the premier event in Olympic Alpine skiing, will be postponed unless there is a significant improvement in the course condition, race director Guenther Hujara said on Friday.
"If the slope remains the same as it is right now, there will certainly be no downhill," Hujara told reporters.
Men's downhill training on Friday was cancelled and the women were also unable to train on a course that has become slushy since a drop in temperatures and rain.
