Panaji: Devendra Joshi (BPCL) was in his elements when he easily overcame Shahbaaz Khan (BPCL) 3-1 in the semifinals of the billiard event at the PSPB Inter-unit Billiards and Snooker Tournament here on Wednesday.
Joshi would have won 4-0 had he not gone out of position in the first frame when he was on a break of 134. Shahbaaz did well to capitalise and take the first frame.
From then on, it was Joshi all the way as he went about his business and showed his class with deft touches.
In the other semi?final, Pankaj Advani (ONGC) got the better of Saurav Kothari (ONGC) 3?1 to set up the title clash with Joshi.
