Mumbai: The 21st Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally
would be run along the backwoods of Panvel and Navi Mumbai on
June 13.
Organised by Sportscraft, the rally is open to all
Indian-made scooters -two-stroke, four-stroke and gearless
-? and is offering trophies and over Rs 51,000 in cash prizes,
a media release said today.
The different classes for competition are: above 80cc
upto 110cc - Two stroke; above 110cc upto 160cc ? Two stroke,
and upto 160 cc - Four stroke.
Special prizes are being offered for best riders from
Mumbai, Thane - Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Vidarbha, Kolhapur,
Bhopal and Hyderabad, the release said.
Standard entries would be accepted till June 4 while late
entries close on June 9 at noon and a maximum of 40 entries
will be accepted on first-come-first-serve basis.
For the first time start money will be given as incentive
for riders from other cities and states to participate, it
added.
