Two Indian rowing teams qualify for Youth Olympic Games

Two Indian rowing teams qualify for Youth Olympic Games New Delhi: Two Indian teams have qualified for the rowing events in the inaugural Youth Olympic Games to be held in Singapore from August 14-26.

Indians qualified for the Junior Men's Coxless Pairs (JM2-) and Junior Women's Coxless Pairs (JW2-) categories of the competition.

The Indians qualified on the basis of their performance in the last year's World Junior Rowing Championships at Brieve, France, a Rowing Federation of India (RFI) release said.

In France the Junior Men's Coxless Pairs team had finished 11th overall.

Members of the teams:

Junior Men's: Yasin Khan, Muneesh Kumar.

Junior Women's:?Pramila Prava Minz, Pratima Puhana.
