Puducherry: Puducherry Chief Minister and
All India NR Congress founder N.Rangasamy Thursday turned 61.
Ministers of the Rangasamy cabinet and legislators of the
party were among those who greeted the Chief Minister.
Large number of people made a beeline to his house from different parts of Puducherry to greet him.
They presented him shawls, lemons, bouquets and garlands on
the occasion.
The AINRC had captured power in the Union Territory
dislodging Congress in the April 13 assembly polls.
AINRC activists pulling the golden chariot at the famous
shrine of Manakula Vinayakar and offering worship at temples
and other places of worship marked the birthday celebrations
of Rangasamy who is a bachelor.
