Puducherry: The Central Pollution Control
Board has re-constituted the Puducherry Pollution control
committee.
The nine-member new committee has Secretary to Department
of Science, Technology and Environment of Puducherry
government as its chairman. The other members are: directors
of Industries, Agriculture and Health and Family Welfare
Services of Puducherry government, commissioner of Puducherry
municipality, senior town planner of Town and Country Planning
Department, commissioner of Karaikal municipality and
principal of Puducherry Engineering College.
Director of Science Technology and Environment of
Puducherry is member secretary of the committee, an official
release said here on Monday.
