Amritsar: A terrorist of Bhindranwale Tigers Force, a militant outfit active during the Khalistan movement, was on Thursday arrested from city General Bus Stand here, police said.
Special Operation Cell of Anti Narcotic of Punjab Police arrested Hardyal Singh, a close associate of top slain militant leader Gurbachan Singh Manochahal who was killed in police encounter during the peak days of militancy in Punjab, from the city General Bus Stand, police AIG Ashwani Kumar said.
Singh was convicted in triple murder case by the court for life imprisonment in 1997 and 2005 but jumped bail when he was on parole granted by the High Court, Kumar said.
