Amritsar: BJP vice president Shanta Kumar
on Sunday said the party's decision of fielding new faces for the
Punjab assembly polls will prove to be a success.
"Winnability factor was kept in mind while fielding
them," Kumar, party's in-charge for Punjab affairs, told
reporters here.
He said the national-level leadership of the party
would aggressively campaign in Punjab to ensure victory of
ruling SAD-BJP combine.
BJP is contesting 23 seats and its ally SAD 94.
Asked about rebellion faced by main Opposition Congress
on some seats, he said it would give enormous benefit to BJP
and SAD.
