Senior BJP leader accused UPA of failing to address major problems like ongoing crisis in Jammu and Kashmir, price-rise and Naxalism.
Punjab: A senior BJP leader on Sunday accused the UPA of failing to address major problems plaguing the country including the ongoing crisis in Jammu and Kashmir, price-rise and Naxalism.
"Be it separatists stoking violence in J and K, the skyrocketing prices or the spate in Naxal violence, the UPA has utterly failed to deal with major problems facing the
country," BJP National Secretary P Murlidhar Rao said.
Rao attributed the alleged failure to lack of political will, coordination, a tired leadership and infighting among leaders of the various UPA allies.
"Corruption has become the order of the day and law and order has gone from bad to worse," he said, adding that the BJP had launched a drive in the country to create awareness among people about the UPA`s failures so that they could reject it in the upcoming polls in several states.
