Gurdaspur: Bodies of three terrorists, who had stormed a police station at Dinanagar here on July 27 and were gunned down during a day-long operation, were buried on Tuesday, police said.
"The last rites of the three terrorists have been performed and their bodies have been buried," Gurdaspur SSP GS Toor said today.
The SSP, however, refused to divulge information about the burial location citing "security reasons".
Post-mortem examinations on the three bodies were conducted by a panel of doctors on July 31 here at civil hospital, amid tight security.
After the autopsy, their bodies were kept in civil hospital, police said.
Three terrorists had on Monday attacked a passenger bus and stormed a police station here killing seven persons.
All the terrorists were gunned down in a day-long operation by Punjab Police and elite commandos of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team.
