Khetarpal blocked traffic and protested against the Deputy
Commissioner after he refused to allow them to pay obeisance
at the mazar, situated inside the premises of his residence.
Devotees protested outside the residence of DC Harkesh
Singh Sidhu and blocked traffic for several hours yesterday.
Former Congress MP Rana Gurjit Singh and SAD MLA Sarabjit
Singh Makkar requested the DC to allow the devotees to pay
obeisance at the tomb of Baba Khetarpal, but he refused to do
so.
Later, Congress MLA Rajbans Kaur Rana and other party
workers scaled the main gate of the DC's residence and allowed
entry to the agitating devotees.
