Chandigarh: Minimum temperature on Friday
dipped by up to two notches below normal in several parts of
Punjab and Haryana though cold conditions had abated in the
region.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 12.2 deg C, the MeT
office said here today.
In Haryana, Hisar and Karnal recorded minimum at
11.5 deg C and 10.4 deg C respectively, down by two notches.
However, Ambala had a low of 13.9 deg C, while Rohtak
recorded a minimum of 11.6 deg C.
Bhiwani had a low of 13 deg C, while Gurgaon and
Narnaul had a respective minimum of 10.5 deg C and 10 deg C.
In Punjab, minimum temperature in Amritsar settled at
9 deg C, down by one notch, while Ludhiana and Patiala
recorded mercury at 11.2 deg C and 11.8 deg C.
