Minimum temperatures stay above normal in Punjab and Haryana

The minimum temperatures across Punjab and Haryana on Saturday settled a few notches above the normal range.

Chandigarh: The minimum temperatures across Punjab and Haryana on Saturday settled a few notches above the normal range.

Chandigarh recorded a low of 10.8 degrees Celsius, up three notches, the MeT said here.

In Haryana, Hisar registered a minimum of 9.9 deg C, up two notches, while the low at Ambala was 11.2 deg C, three degrees more than normal.

The low at Gurgaon settled at 10 deg C, up three degrees, while the low at Karnal was 9.6 deg C, up one degree. The respective lows at Rohtak and Bhiwani were 9.4 deg C and 8.4 deg C.

In Punjab, the low at Ludhiana was 10.9 deg C, up three degrees, while the low at Amritsar was 9.3 deg C.

The minimum at Patiala settled at 9.4 deg C, up one notch.

The MeT has forecast not much change in the minimum temperatures in the two states until tomorrow.
