Moga (Pb): A 17-year-old-girl was allegedly kidnapped by a youth and his four family members when she was returning from school in Randhir village of the district, police said on Wednesday.
Jaswinder Singh and his family members kidnapped the girl yesterday, police said.
The girl`s father stated in his complaint that one of the five accused, a youth, had lured his daughter on the pretext of marriage and abducted her, they said.
A case has been registered in this connection and search is on for the accused, they said.
In a separate incident, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly abducted by three persons here.
The three accused, who abducted the girl yesterday, were known to the victim, police said.
The trio has been booked and search is on for them, they said.
