The State Registration Department has set up a committee of former GCA secretary Chetan Desai and retired bureaucrat Anil Lavandis to probe the allegations and it would submit a report within 15 days. GCA`s affairs came under the scanner after two local clubs affiliated to it lodged a complaint. Dayanand Narvekar, former vice president of BCCI, heads the GCA. The former state minister has been of late in the news for wrong reasons. Before the recent Assembly polls, he was accused of using the GCA to lure voters.
