Chandigarh: Panjab University Students Union
(PUSU)-Indian National Students Organisation (INSO) alliance swept the Panjab University Campus Students Elections (PUCSE)
here Friday.
The alliance bagged three out of total four seats,
including that of president, vice president and joint
secretary of the students body.
While Gurbir Singh Aulakh (PUSU) was elected as president,
INSO candidate Vibha Sharma won the vice president's post.
Subash Chander (INSO) won the post of joint secretary.
Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) candidate Akhil
Bansal got elected for the post of general secretary.
While INSO is backed by Indian National Lok Dal (INLD),
PUSU is an independent students' body.
