Moga: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from Bhagike village of this district by a youth of the same village, police said Monday.
According to report lodged by the girl`s father, Gurdas Singh abducted his daughter by promising to marry her when she was on way to a shop near his house last evening, police said.
When she did not return home, they searched for her but could not find her, the girl`s father told police.
A search is on for the girl and the youth, they said.
